Statement from Robert Mitchell on the passing of Mark McLane

Bonnie and I are heartbroken by the passing of Mark McLane, MLA for Cornwall–Meadowbank and Minister of Health and Wellness.

Mark was a kind man who carried himself with dignity and a strong sense of service. He approached public life in a thoughtful and statesmanlike way, but above all, he was a proud and devoted family man.

Today is a sad day for Prince Edward Island.

On behalf of my family and our PEI Liberal Team, I extend our sincere condolences to the McLane family. Our hearts and our thoughts are with you.
