The PEI community I am so fortunate to serve is a special place. The people of District 14: Charlottetown – West Royalty share the values of being a good neighbour and looking out for those who are most vulnerable. Working together, we have been able to accomplish so much together.

We advocated for seniors when this government failed to meet their basic needs.

We pushed to amend the Residential Tenancy Act to add needed protections for tenants.

And we drove the conservative government to take action to keep our children safe at school.

In recent years we have also had to face many challenges together: inflation and the rising cost of living, a sharp decline in access to primary care, extreme weather, and so much more. Islanders are resilient, but we've taken the brunt to a greater extent than necessary.

Now more than ever we need a government that is focused, and leadership that is experienced. I believe in Robert Mitchell, and I want to be part of his team and the next Liberal government on PEI so that we can really address pressing issues in healthcare, education, and the economy.

Today I am excited to share that I will again seek the Liberal Nomination in District 14: Charlottetown - West Royalty. Please join myself, and the District 14 Liberal Association for the AGM & Nomination Meeting on Thursday, February 12 at the West Royalty Community Centre. All are welcome to attend with the Annual General Meeting beginning at 6:30pm, and the Nomination Meeting to immediately follow.

I am, and always will be, honoured to represent the District. As a long time resident of District 14, I have had the privilege to get to know many residents personally when invited into their homes while they shared their hopes for the future. I hope I have earned residents’ trust, can count on their support, and look forward to reconnecting as we begin this next chapter together.
