Gordon McNeilly is the MLA for District 14, Charlottetown-West Royalty, having first been elected in 2019 and re-elected again in 2023. He currently serves as the Official Opposition critic for health and wellness, housing, workforce and advanced learning, Acadian and Francophone affairs, and diversity.

Gord is a successful entrepreneur, owning 2 small businesses in the Charlottetown area. He is bilingual and holds a Bachelor of Science, Kinesiology from the University of New Brunswick. Through his fitness and wellness business, Gord has extensive experience in coaching and is a dynamic and charismatic motivational speaker. He also owns and operates a thriving landscaping business.

Gord has displayed his talents as a community builder and is a respected community leader for over 20 years, promoting and supporting many not-for-profit organizations in the community. He was the provincial fundraising chair for the United Way for three years, served as a Director of Lennon Recovery House for two years, and gives freely of his time and expertise to many local associations. He is heavily involved with the Alzheimers Association and has volunteered with many community special events and local organizations. A professional communicator with on-air live broadcasting, Gord also provides colour commentary and analysis for the National Basketball League of Canada and the UPEI Panthers of the Atlantic University Sports.
